A point in a game from less to more

Andorra has got a point in the game against Ponferradina, which has shown itself to be a great rival and one of the candidates to occupy the leading positions in the table. Ponfe was better in the first half and could have taken the lead before the break, but the post prevented the visitors' goal on four occasions. Curiously, it was Andorra, who knew how to resist well, who took the lead with an Álvaro Peña stunning goal. After half-time, Ponfe equalized the scoreboard at the start of the second half and the tricolours had options, in the final stretch, to get the win.

It's important to know how to suffer when things don't go your way and Ferran Costa's men knew how to do that in the first half. Uncomfortable in front of a brave and daring opponent, the tricolours took the lead in one of the only opportunities they had in the first 45 minutes; in the other area, Nico Ratti saved the goal on a couple of occasions, while the visitors sent four balls off the post. The 1-0, by the way, was another goal from Álvaro Peña, who has already scored two in two games for Estadi Nacional.

In the restart, Sibille equalized the score in a set piece action, but Andorra reacted well. After an even first quarter of an hour, the tricolours took control and had chances to take the win in the last minutes in which the Principality squad was better. Manu Nieto, Almpanis in a very clear opportunity after a corner kick and a very active Álvaro Martín in the minutes he played, had good options to unbalance the game, while almost in the last play of the match, Ndiaye had also a clear header.
